Chinchero will be the first point of visit in the tour of the sacred valley vip & machu picchu. It is located 28 km from the city of Cusco at 3,772 m.a.s.l. and has important archaeological sites, a beautiful colonial church of the XVII century with canvases of the “Cuzco School”, and a typical market where you can still barter. MORAY AGRICULTURAL RESEARCH CENTER

MARAS SALT MINES (Salt Mines)
Artisanal salt mines: located in the high zone of the sacred valley where the river Salineras de Maras, of little flow, pours its salty waters towards the ponds, where they stagnate and where the water evaporates little by little thanks to the heat of the sun, thus producing salt, so characteristic element of this zone of the most fertile blessed valley.the use of the terraces or wells by the locals is hereditary, but it works in a common way, like the Salt of Maras.
URUBAMBA
is a beautiful field, with great fruit production. An excellent place to enjoy our typical buffet lunch in the area, at the end we continue the trip – Ollantaytambo.
Ollantaytambo considered as the living city of the Incas. The current city of Ollantaytambo, has many houses built on the foundations of the ancient Inca city, where the native inhabitants live rooted in ancestral customs. Ollantaytambo is 97 km (60 miles) from Cusco, 2,846 meters above sea level. (Train station to Machu Picchu).
Machu Picchu is a small Inca city built on top of a mountain, surrounded by temples, terraces and water channels. Its construction was built with giant blocks of stone joined together, without the use of amalgam or any product to reinforce their union. It is currently considered cultural heritage of humanity to be recognized as an important political, religious and administrative center of the Inca period.
