    Inca Jungle 4 Days to Machu Picchu is an exciting adventure in the Cusco region is an alternative Inca Trail to Machu Picchu.     DAY 01: CUSCO – SANTA MARIA (BIKING)

    The first day we will pick you up at your hotel half an hour before departure to the road, then the trip takes around 4:30 and during the trip we will observe impressive landscapes such as the highest mountains of the region, as the Nevado Veronica, Pitusiray, which is located at 5. We will also see the picturesque villages of Poroy, Chinchero and Ollantaytambo, where we will take the road to the right side of the mountain to rise to an altitude of 4350 meters above sea level, is the Abra del Malaga, mystical point where ceremonies are held to thank the Pachamama (Mother Earth).

    In the afternoon we will arrive at the village of Santa Maria, which is located 1.430 m.a.s.l. (Our first night of lodging will be in basic service). Where we will have dinner in a region of cloud forest and then we will have a brief summary of the entire route of the road, which was 4 to 5 hours downhill.

    DAY 02: SANTA MARIA – SANTA TERESA (TREKKING)

    After a good breakfast, with many vitamins based on banana, oranges, papaya and other fruits of the region, we will be ready to begin our fantastic excursions full of adventure, we will walk through places full of vegetation, where we can appreciate the cultivation and drying of coffee, as well as the sacred plant of the Incas the coca leaf, along the way we will find the famous road called Kapac Ñan (Inca road networks), today we can appreciate the road in good condition and intact stairs. After the hike into the vegetation full of clean air, we will have the opportunity to enter the best thermal medicinal baths of Cocalmayo in Santa Teresa to relax after a day of hiking, we will arrive to Santa Teresa where we will have dinner and stay overnight. At dinner time our guide will coordinate and inform about the next day’s tour.

    DAY 03: SANTA TERESA – AGUAS CALIENTES (TREKKING)

    This day is memorable for its variety of flora and fauna that we will see during the day, such as butterflies, parrots, lizards, birds and insects.

    From the camp we will leave towards the northeast of the town of Santa Teresa, crossing the rivers of the same name and along the way we will have the opportunity to appreciate the electric generator of Colpani and then cross the Vilcanota River (Sacred River of the Incas) by the bridge of Carrillochayoc, and then reach the village of Hidroelectrica, this point is one of the most exciting and fun. We will also visit the Inti Watana (sundial) and have lunch with the typical food of the area.

    Finally we will arrive to Aguas Calientes, where we will spend the night in the chosen hotel, then we will have dinner and meeting with our guide to coordinate how will be our visit the next day to the sacred city of Machu Picchu.

     

    DAY 04: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

    After breakfast, we will start walking to the archaeological site of Machu Picchu one of the wonders of the world, to enjoy the sunrise of Machu Picchu, this walk will go up from 1.980 masl until reaching 2. The guided tour will be done by our official guide in Spanish language for two hours, and then you will have free time to take pictures and walk or meditate until the train departure time and then in the afternoon you will return to the town of Aguas Calientes, where you will take the train from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo, on arrival our bus will be waiting to take you to Cusco arriving at 21.45.
